Turbotect was founded about 35 years ago in Baden, Switzerland with the business objective to provide plant operators with solutions for the cleaning of gas turbine compressors. Throughout Malaysia, Turbotect is being used to clean many of the gas turbines used in the Oil and Gas Industry with one major notable client being PETRONAS MLNG.
The Turbotect cleaning system that is stocked, marketed and supplied throughout Malaysia offers systems for ON LINE and OFF LINE compressor cleaning which allows the operator to maintain gas turbine performance by removing effectively deposits in the compressor so that the turbine can operate close to its guaranteed performance. Elmar Industrial Services Sdn Bhd has been the Authorized Agents for Turbotect products in Malaysia since 1988 with expertise and consultancy in gas turbine applied metallurgy and supply of solvent-based & water-soluble detergents for compressor washing.

TURBOTECT 2020 GAS TURBINE COMPRESSOR CLEANER Water-Based for ON LINE and OFF LINE use
BASIC USE:
TURBOTECT 2020 is a superior quality, water-based, gas turbine compressor cleaner designed for both ON LINE and OFF LINE applications. TURBOTECT 2020 is formulated from a unique blend of non-ionic surfactants and emulsifiers in a biodegradable water-based system. The product has been specially designed to address the types of fouling commonly found in today’s gas turbines, where deposits are typically compact mixtures of various salts with urban and industrial pollutants, hydrocarbons, and other carbonaceous materials.
COMPATIBILITY:
TURBOTECT 2020 includes specially selected inhibitors to ensure compatibility with aluminium, magnesium, nickel, nickel-cadmium, stainless steel, titanium and common coatings including painted surfaces and elastomers.
TURBOTECT 2020 conforms to MIL-PRF-85704C specification for Type 2 (OFF LINE) and Type 3 (ON LINE) aqueous cleaner concentrates.

TURBOTECT 927 is a high quality, solvent-based, gas turbine compressor cleaner designed for both ON LINE and OFF LINE applications. TURBOTECT 927 is specially formulated from organic solvents, surfactants, and emulsifiers designed to remove grease, oil, soot, and other deposits commonly found on gas turbine compressors.
COMPATIBILITY:
TURBOTECT 927 incorporates special inhibitors to ensure compatibility with aluminium alloys, magnesium-chrome alloys, nickel, nickel-cadmium, stainless steel, titanium alloys and common coatings.
TURBOTECT 927 meets the most stringent specification requirements of major gas turbine engine manufacturers. It is in use in many plant locations around the world, on all type of engines up to 250 MW in output.
